VIV RODD:
In 1963 Viv completed (FINALS) Pianoforte
& theory ROYAL SCHOOL OF MUSIC LONDON. He turned down 3 yr Classical
scholarship in favour of performing on the 'liner QUEEN MARY gaining access
to NEW- YORK on a regular basis for JAZZ LESSONS and experience.

1971-- 1973 Visiting Jazz Lecturer Pietermaritsburg & Durban University

Viv is currently the Academic Director of the Truro College Jazz Degree

During 1967/86 He toured EUROPE,
SCANDINAVIA & SOUTH AFRICA with own Band.
He has played with and offered regular work with CHARLES MINGUS & SONNY
ROLLINS.
Also worked with amongst others, CLARK TERRY, MARK MURPHY, ROY ELDRIDGE,
FREDDY COLE, BUDDY GRECO, etc, etc. He is currently completing a CD of his
own original compositions. He has over 70 such compositions to his name
